Asad Qureshi
Lead Client Manager

Joined Equilibrium in 2016

I recently graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Bradford. I gained a curiosity of financial markets whilst studying at sixth form and after working for the NHS during my degree I finally had the opportunity to invest some actual money. My friends often asked me how they could get started with investing and it was from here I began considering wealth management as a career - it’s great knowing that you can guide people to improving their financial health.

I found out about the Equilibrium graduate scheme through my University’s economics department. The scheme looked like a perfect way to begin my career in the industry, and with a company that prides itself on its people and having a great work culture.

I was born in Blackpool, lived in Saudi Arabia during my childhood, and have lived in the greatest city of all time ever since I moved back (Manchester). I played volleyball for my University (as well as basketball for a short period of time) and I'm also a qualified volleyball coach. You'll probably find me in a gym outside of work for those reasons but I also enjoy playing instruments and learning languages.

What clients say about Asad:

When we needed a withdrawal Asad was very attentive and not only swiftly organised the transfer of money but also kept us informed about the progress of the transfer. We were also asked about holiday, family, health and even the car.
