Joined Equilibrium in 2007

I joined Equilibrium because I wanted to expand my knowledge into all aspects of financial planning and wealth management. I’m pleased I did, as I like the people, the forward-thinking attitude (and the holiday entitlement!).

My role involves developing and equipping the team with the appropriate training, resources and support to be able to deliver an excellent service to our clients. One of my recent successes has been embedding a comprehensive training and competency framework for our client manager team to be able to develop and grow. I have additionally been heavily involved with the introduction of our graduate training programme. I immensely enjoy working with such a great group of people and coaching the team to be able to achieve their best. It’s great to be able to see someone really flourish in their role.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling (my recent favourites were New York and Portugal), pilates, shopping, good food and wine!

I think Equilibrium is a great place to work as employees are treated as adults. Information is openly shared so that people feel involved and in the loop. We ask for people’s ideas and implement the good ones. People are treated fairly, praised where it is due and held accountable when they don’t deliver. I feel we have a culture where work life balance is important with the holiday package and flexibility around hours.
